Users aged 25-34 still rule social media, but not as much as you might think. That demographic might be active on Facebook and Instagram, but if you’re looking for the 18-24-year-old Millennial, you’re more likely to find them on Snapchat and Vine.

Once you know who your students are and where they roam on social media, your school can push out content specific to this key demographic. A link share that may have a high engagement rate on Twitter may not necessarily perform as well on Facebook, and vice versa.
