If you have a solid foundation in sales, with emphasis on higher education, and know how to drive results in the digital marketing space, you may be the right candidate for this position. You are the right candidate if you have had consistent growth in consultative sales roles, have the ability to identify and cultivate prospects, while also mentoring and supporting your in-house team. You’re a focused listener, able to hone in on your audience and deliver knockout presentations, but you are also super detailed-oriented and you are able to develop detailed client proposals. Role profile

  • Prospect and convert potential clients into new business
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of sales opportunities
  • Develop, prepare and deliver presentations to target audiences
  • Oversee the management of new business relationships and ensure an effective handover to our Agency Team
  • Develop and utilize your strong networks through industry events, cold calls and face to face meetings with prospects
  • Leverage your higher education knowledge to open new opportunities
  • Maintain a prioritized prospect target list within the company’s CRM
  • Develop proposals that speak to the prospective client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
  • Provide weekly reporting to management on business development activities and open opportunities
  • Handle objections by clarifying and working through differences to achieve a high prospect to close rate
  • Participate in the response to RFPs
  • Continue to build on and leverage relationships with key partners
  • Participate in client solution and pricing discussions
  • Present an image that fully represents ESM Digital’s values
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

ESM Digital is located in Andover, MA and Cambridge, MA however this position can work from anywhere in the United States.  Position is salary plus incentive – salary commensurate with experience.
