ESM Digital, located in Andover, MA is seeking an experienced, creative and analytical Digital Marketing Director to manage a team of Paid Media, Social Media, Email, and SEO experts with best- in-class digital media strategies. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of improving return on investment across multiple digital platforms, including paid search (SEM) and organic search (SEO), paid (PPC) advertising, social media marketing, email marketing and optimized websites. The ideal candidate, self-directed and data-driven, will be detailed-oriented, good with numbers, a strategic and analytical thinker and an effective team manager. Candidates must have experience developing strategies using Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media acquisition channels. Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to handle tracking and reporting questions both internally and externally.

The role as Digital Marketing Director requires you to oversee a digital marketing team while also being willing to dive in and “get your hands dirty” whenever necessary.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Digital Marketing SEM, PPC, SEO…. with proven results
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a marketing team
  • At least 2 years of experience in social media, email, and content marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with AdWords and Facebook advertising
  • Expertise with Google Analytics or similar Analytics platforms
  • Fluency in SEM, PPC, SEO standards and strategy and in improving search results
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, vlook ups) and passionate about numbers and data
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and budgets simultaneously
  • Strong ability to analyze the performance (ROI) of search and social campaigns and optimize the work based on data analytics
  • Proven ability to work with marketing teams to create and execute conversion campaigns to achieve business objectives
  • Energetic, resourceful and self-directed with the ability to both collaborate and work independently to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Possess a passion for marketing, positive attitude and a good sense of humor

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop best-in-class digital marketing strategies to meet and exceed client needs
  • Oversee paid media SEM, SEO, social media, and email marketing teams
  • Audit accounts on an ongoing basis for performance and training purposes
  • Conduct engaging client calls and develop dynamic presentations
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities within accounts and for new business
  • Manage staffing strategy and recruiting
  • Partner with clients to develop lead generation strategies, oversee marketing plans and budgets, build scalable processes, and develop effective planning and forecasting
  • Establish key performance indicators for all digital acquisition efforts
  • Measure and improve return on investment with creative digital marketing strategies
  • Plan and execute optimization tests to ensure strongest-possible conversions
  • Collaborate with clear, frequent communication
  • Troubleshoot and solve client strategies and challenges
  • Initiate regular reporting on campaign conversions and analytics
  • Deliver engaging presentations to clients and prospective clients
  • Lead by example and mentor team by staying current on best practices, trends and technologies
